Project Objective

The goal of the project was to create a clear, recognizable, and meaningful logo that visually reflects Lithuania’s role in the “Horizon Europe” programme. The mark needed to communicate a connection with Europe, innovation, and reliable information dissemination.
It was also important for the logo to have long-term value, be easily adaptable across digital and physical communication channels, and establish a strong national identity.

Creative Process

In developing the logo, the primary visual element became the outline of Lithuania, symbolizing national identity and the country’s place within the European research and innovation network. Integrated within the silhouette is a QR code motif, representing access to information, digitalization, and a direct connection to the online platform.
The gradient transition from blue to green symbolizes the growth of knowledge, innovation, and progress, while the pixel-based structure creates associations with data, technology, and networking.

Final Result

The result is a modern, concept-driven, and easily recognizable Horizon Europe Lithuania logo, combining national identity with the ideas of innovation and digital access. The hidden QR code motif adds an additional conceptual layer to the mark.
The logo functions effectively across digital platforms, informational publications, event visuals, and official communication, strengthening the image of Horizon Europe as a reliable and contemporary initiative in Lithuania.
